.litematic is Litematica’s native Java Edition format and can store regions and block-state palettes.
.schem is commonly used by modern WorldEdit and Sponge tooling.
.nbt is the vanilla Java structure-block format.
.mcstructure is Bedrock Edition’s structure format. Java and Bedrock block states do not always map perfectly, so conversion may lose unsupported metadata.
